July is Parks and Recreation Month! MRPA is hosting outdoor activities for youth on July 8 at the State Capitol in Lansing – join us and help show Michigan’s legislators what parks and recreation is all about! In addition to the activities for youth, MRPA will be making a special public announcement at Come Out & Play. Join us as we celebrate MRPA's 80th anniversary and share some exciting news!
On Wednesday, July 8, the Michigan Recreation and Park Association (MRPA), the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR), and the Michigan No Child Left Inside Coalition (MNCLI) will host Come Out and Play: A Day at the Capitol, an event providing various outdoor activities and nature education opportunities for more than 1,200 youth attendees.
