The 2010 MRPA Family Camping Adventure

The MRPA Family Camping adventure is an opportunity for members and their families to meet, mingle and camp while enjoying the beautiful Traverse City State Park. Registration will begin on February 20, 2010. Don't miss this great opportunity for fun and fellowship!

Friday, August 20 - Sunday, August 22, 2010

The Michigan State Park reservation system will allow people to register for campsites six months to the day prior to your arrival at the campground. Traverse City State park is now on a site specific reservation system, which means that when you reserve you much specify which site you want. The MRPA group will try to gather around site 112/114. When looking at sites online, if you want to be close to the core group of MRPA families, choose sites near 112/114.

Click on Reservation and Camping (left side)

Click on Campground and Harbor Reservations (left side)

Click on Campground Reservations

Click on Make a Campground Reservation

Click on Go to camp

Then complete your reservation

Campers at this year's event will have the extra excitement of participating in Traverse City State Park's First Annual Christmas in August special event. Campsites will be judged on their holiday spirit displays, various Christmas activities will take place, and of course, the big jolly man from the North Pole will be there to brighten everybody's spirit. Let's have the crew from MRPA show the rest of the campers that we know how to celebrate and have fun by getting into the "Christmas Camping Spirit."
