Okemos, Michigan - The NFL Punt, Pass & Kick (PPK) organization has announced that John Paramski of Newberry has advanced to the PPK National Finals, taking place during the Atlanta Falcons January NFC Division Playoff game.

Paramski became a NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Michigan State Champion on December 5, 2010. Paramski's combined score of 298', 2" was enough to not only clinch a first place victory in the Boys' Age 10/11 Division, but to set a new PPK Michigan Finals state record.

Local park and recreation departments host regional qualifying competitions throughout Michigan each year.
